Drawings

At the age of three it seems drawings are produced with great passion and hurry. They leave lots of room for interpretation, although if you ask the artist herself, image three shows Mama, Papa, herself and her sister in a boat. Then papa and mama climbed out. That's why they got erased with a black marker.

Great things can happen when circles are provided - I especially like the shocked faces.

I love the drawings in the journals Katie's daughters keep. Seeing all these drawings remind me of the ones I made when I was young, like Sathya, who draws beautifully.

Pink elephants on the move

She's not quite crawling yet, but trying very hard.

The pink elephant shirt she's wearing is a hand me down and one of my favourites. It's by Smafolk. Looking at their website I find it hard not to just buy everything.

On my way to pick up the kids

Looking up this time.  A journey I make every day, but with the camera in hand it is somehow different.

Reflection

Light making its way through shutters or some holes in a lampshade. Tomorrow, I hope it'll make its way through the clouds.

Weekend sewing

Some weekend sewing. I've fallen in love with the grey-green fabric. I could use it for just about anything I am sewing at the moment. For the hoody I was asked to use colours that work for boys and girls. What do you think?

Distractivity

“Distractivity is what you’re doing when you get distracted from what you should be doing. It’s generally what you want to do, often what you need to do, and arguably, what you’ll do best.” - John Goodman from Distractivity
Well, this is some food for thought, isn't it?

Wristband for the boys

First of all, thank you for your suggestions. What do you think? Of course, the bottom right one is another version for girls, or maybe a very modern little boy?
Oh, and those wristbands have made it into a Shop here in Barcelona - La Tienda Mujer en la Carrer Carders 28 en el Borne.

Rae and Dana are celebrating the boy all throughout February - go have a look.
