A full time dedication to water and mud games requires numerous changes of clothes. While princesses (I am told) do play with mud and sand and water, they apparently don't wear dirty clothes.
This is the easiest, quickest skirt I know. Basically a long strip of fabric attached to an elastic waistband. Done. Like this and this skirt.
Sewing the 2m(!) bottom seam I thought, this is what sewing curtains must be like.
The shirt is part of my triangle shirt experiment, a close friend of this one.

So pretty and comfortable! I should try this waistband, too, it would not be too stiff like elastics sometimes. But seriously, 2 meters of fabric?!
It´s very nice. And I love your triangle shirts!
Lovely. The girl and the skirt.
Sewing some "easiest" skirts here also! Beautiful t shirt ;)
Victoria
Thank you.
@ Leväävä Esteetikko. Yes, 2 meters. Funny, right? Doesn't look that much.
@ Atelier e-Couture. Like your idea of the distance sewing course. I am sure it will result in many beautiful skirts.
and the little miss there seems to appreciate very much! lovely skirt and cool top!
I love those little sandals too! Where did you find them?
what a lovely outfit for this little modern princess ! :)
(her sandals are menorquinas ? )
GROßARTIG - GREAT!
Thank you all.
@ la casita. Yes. She loves it. She has insisted on wearing the skirt for four days straight.
@ Willow-King/Séverine Yes, these are menorquinas. You can by them everywhere in Barcelona. Lots of people wear them here in the summer.
Oh, I forget. They are the adapted version for kids.
quines fotos més maques!
Love the ensemble! Your girl is a stylish one:)
I really need to learn how to sew. Even that sounds a bit complicated to me! Do you buy your elastic ready made like that?
@Tracey. Yes, you can buy it just like that, like every other fabric and then you cut the pieces in the size you like. I don't know the name for this fabric in English - in Spanish I ask for 'puño'
Me gusta todo!!! Y las fotos son ideales!!!
;)
