Sweater present

Her best friend's birthday. She's decided, as a present he needs a new sweater, like hers.... but not pink. He likes blue.

I like lable-less clothes. But for her, I always sew in a little bit of fabric and write her name. With a present like this, of course, she gets to write the name.

And make the card (the first photo).
Apparently, girls not only have longer hair but longer eyelashes, too.

What a lucky boy to have a friend like your daughter:) And what a lucky boy's mom to have such a beautiful new addition to his wardrobe!

I like these a lot :), what a lovely present! They look so neatly finished too. I've been making a couple of jumpers for my little boy and struggle to make the 'inside' look good. Are you using an overlocker? S

@frambooske. Thank you. I use a serger (or overlock), but more for the ealstic seams than the finishing. Although I agree, it does look neater. Good luck with future sweaters.

Glad you are comfortable with lable-less clothes! There's this unneeded pressure to have a label on your clothes that "marks" you as a blogger/seamstress!

I love everything about this post: that your daughter wanted her friend to have a matching sweater, that you made it, that she made the tag, and those awesome faces in the sweaters!

ohh yes!! You haven't been to Girona yet! It takes just one hour from pg.de Gràcia! ;) Autumn is the best season for visiting it, or in May too, because is full of flowers!
And this is a very nice present!! I like a lot the shape of your sweaters!
