Before going to bed my daughters dedicate a great deal of time to making sure everything they hold dearly is close-by and in its right place. It makes me smile to imagine how they would apply the same personalization to an office space :)

Anna told me how she later turned one of these creatures into a human size octopus costume (of which one arm can still be found in the house today ) Kids drawings have secret powers, I think.

Almost forgot to post the next calendar image, sorry.
Such a busy time, those final weeks before Christmas. I am trying to make the majority of presents myself and progress is slow. But I can't help it, that's what I like and what I think is important. I guess I fall asleep the minute Santa Claus knocks on the door.

Hetty commented yesterday that the joy kids find in everything is contagious. So true. I think their spontaneous humor, too. 
I had a tooth extracted yesterday. Back home when they inspected the damage the little one asked, "Did you cry, did you scream?". Imagine :)
